I recently went in search of honey buns from Lance because it had been a long time since I had one. I’ve been living across the country for the last two years and they’ve always reminded me of my childhood in North Carolina.
I reached out to Lance on their Facebook page and got a very quick response. Unfortunately they let me know that the honey buns had been discontinued. They so kindly asked if there was another snack that I enjoyed, that reminded me of home, that they could send me. I’ve always loved the Toast Chee crackers, so I mentioned those and they got my contact info.
The package from Lance arrived today and I was so excited to open it! Along with a very sweet, hand written note, Lance so generously included variety packs of their other crackers and whole grain, peanut butter, mini crackers. I was so touched by their generosity and the fact that they went out of their way to send me a package, when it was something they didn’t have to do.
I’ve been wandering the same about the honey but all but there’s NOTHING else they were one of a kind.Maybe they will bring them back.

Another commenter let me know that Duchess was the company that produced Lance’s version. I ordered some recently and can confirm they’re the same 😊

you can still get the exact honey bun ,it’s now sold in Sam’s club, Costco etc as “ Dutchess Honey Bun” the company that makes Dutchess made the honey buns for lance. I worked at both companies.
